Who we are

Abi Peters Skin Clinic is the trading name of Abi Peters Aesthetics Ltd, a company registered in England & Wales (company number 16624548). Registered office: 6 Tanners View, Denmead, Waterlooville, England, PO7 6GG.

We are the data controller for information collected through this website and in clinic. We are registered with the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO); our registration number will be published here once it appears on the public register.

What we collect

  • Enquiry data, name, contact details and your message, when you contact us or book an appointment.
  • Medical information, health history collected at consultation, held as part of your confidential clinical record. This is special category data, processed for the provision of healthcare under UK GDPR Article 9(2)(h).
  • Marketing data, your email address, only with your consent, for the Skin Confidence List.
  • Website data, analytics and marketing cookies, only with your consent (see our Cookie Policy).

How we use it

To respond to enquiries, provide safe clinical care, meet our legal, regulatory and insurance record-keeping obligations, send marketing you have opted into, and improve this website. Our lawful bases are: performance of a contract (your treatment), legal obligation (clinical record-keeping), consent (marketing and non-essential cookies) and legitimate interests (responding to enquiries and running the clinic).

Retention

Clinical records are retained for a minimum of 8 years from your last treatment, in line with UK healthcare record-keeping guidance and our insurer's requirements. Enquiry data that does not lead to treatment is kept no longer than necessary. Marketing consent lasts until you withdraw it, every email includes an unsubscribe link.

Sharing

We do not sell your data. We share it only with processors who help us run the clinic, our clinical records and online booking system (Aesthetic Nurse Software) and, where applicable, our communications platform, under contract, or where the law requires disclosure.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR you may request access, correction, deletion (where applicable), restriction and portability of your data, and you may withdraw consent at any time. Contact us at accounts@abipetersaesthetics.co.uk. You also have the right to complain to the ICO at ico.org.uk.
