Who we are

Abi Peters Skin Clinic is the trading name of Abi Peters Aesthetics Ltd, a company registered in England & Wales (company number 16624548). Registered office: 6 Tanners View, Denmead, Waterlooville, England, PO7 6GG.

We are the data controller for information collected through this website, our model-casting application and in clinic. We are registered with the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) as Abi Peters Aesthetics Ltd, under registration reference ZC191072.

What we collect

  • Enquiry data, name, contact details and your message, when you contact us or book an appointment.
  • Medical information, health history collected at consultation, held as part of your confidential clinical record. This is special category data, processed for the provision of healthcare under UK GDPR Article 9(2)(h).
  • Marketing data, your email address, only with your consent, for the Skin Confidence List.
  • Website data, analytics and marketing cookies, only with your consent (see our Cookie Policy).

How we use it

To respond to enquiries, provide safe clinical care, meet our legal, regulatory and insurance record-keeping obligations, send marketing you have opted into, and improve this website. Our lawful bases are: performance of a contract (your treatment), legal obligation (clinical record-keeping), consent (marketing and non-essential cookies) and legitimate interests (responding to enquiries and running the clinic).

Retention

Clinical records are retained for a minimum of 8 years from your last treatment, in line with UK healthcare record-keeping guidance and our insurer's requirements. Enquiry data that does not lead to treatment is kept no longer than necessary. Marketing consent lasts until you withdraw it, every email includes an unsubscribe link.

Sharing

We do not sell your data. We share it only with processors who help us run the clinic, our clinical records and online booking system (Aesthetic Nurse Software) and, where applicable, our communications platform, under contract, or where the law requires disclosure.

Job applicants and the talent register

If you apply for a role with us, or ask us to tell you about future roles, we collect what you put on the form: your name, contact details, the role and clinic, your right to work in the UK, your availability, and for clinical roles your NMC PIN and prescriber status. If we ask for a CV and you send one, we hold that too, along with notes from any interview.

  • Why, and our lawful basis. To consider your application and take steps towards employing you (Article 6(1)(b)), and our legitimate interest in recruiting the right people (Article 6(1)(f)). The talent register runs on your consent (Article 6(1)(a)), which you can withdraw at any time. Right to work and background checks are a legal obligation (Article 6(1)(c)) and happen only once we have offered you a role.
  • What we do not ask. We do not ask about your health, age, nationality or criminal record on the application form.
  • Who sees it. Abi Peters and the person managing recruitment. It is held in our customer relationship platform (GoHighLevel), which acts as our processor under contract, with the safeguards UK law requires for data held outside the UK. Applicants are never added to our treatment marketing.
  • How long we keep it. If you are not offered a role, we delete your application 9 months after we tell you. An application with no decision is deleted 12 months after you applied. The talent register lasts 12 months, and we will ask before then whether you want to stay on it. If you join us, your details move to your staff file.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR you may request access, correction, deletion (where applicable), restriction and portability of your data, and you may withdraw consent at any time. Contact us at accounts@abipetersaesthetics.co.uk. You also have the right to complain to the ICO at ico.org.uk.
