Do I need a consultation before treatment?
Yes. Every treatment journey at Abi Peters Skin Clinic begins with a consultation. This allows us to understand your skin, assess suitability, discuss realistic outcomes and plan treatment safely. For prescription-only medicines, a face-to-face consultation with our prescriber is a legal requirement.
What is the skin analysis, and is it really included?
Our AI Skin Analysis is a bookable consultation at both clinics: clinical imaging across multiple light spectra that shows what is happening beneath your skin's surface, from early pigmentation and UV damage to sensitivity, texture and hydration. It is normally £50, and £0 throughout November 2026 to celebrate our Winchester opening.
Who carries out treatments at the clinic?
Every treatment is carried out personally by Abi Peters, an Advanced Nurse Practitioner and independent prescriber with sixteen years in healthcare. Nothing is delegated.
Will my results look natural?
Our whole approach is built around subtle, considered treatment planning. We aim for outcomes that look like you on a good day, refreshed rather than obviously treated. Results vary between individuals, and your practitioner will always discuss what is realistic for you.
Are aesthetic treatments safe?
All treatments carry some degree of risk, which is why suitability is assessed at consultation and why risks, side effects and aftercare are discussed openly before you decide to proceed. As a nurse-led clinic, safety and clinical governance sit at the centre of everything we do.
Do you treat anyone under 18?
No. We do not provide aesthetic treatments to anyone under the age of 18, in line with UK law and our own clinical standards. Photo ID may be requested.
